More than 30 Professional Members of The Welding Institute feature in a list of newly registered engineers and technicians published in today's Daily Telegraph.
The names featured are of people who have recently registered with the Engineering Council, which is only possible through membership of a professional engineering institution such as The Welding Institute.
The Welding Institute assesses Members for their eligibility for registration with the Engineering Council, and will only confer registration on engineers and technicians who can demonstrate the necessary skill, knowledge, competence and commitment.
The list published today features a total of 37 members of The Welding Institute: 24 Engineering Technicians (EngTech), eight Incorporated Engineers (IEng) and five Chartered Engineers (CEng).
Full details can also be found on the Engineering Council website. The next new list of registrants will be published on 3 September.
