Who may attend this course?
The CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector course is designed for welders, line inspectors, operators and foremen who carry out the visual examination of welded joints. This course is also suitable for staff who control the quality of the welding.
What will I learn?
You will learn visual inspection procedures, terms, definitions, and relevant application codes in this course. You will also learn about weld measurements, welding processes and defects, practical inspection and reporting, and the typical welding inspection documentation and requirements.

What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, but it is recommended that candidates have at least 6 months of welding/engineering experience and two years of industrial exposure. Candidates must also comply with Clause 1.3.4 of CSWIP document WI-6-92.
