This February TWI Malaysia was delighted to attend the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ria Academy & Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. and Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS). In this conjunction, TWI also exchanged MOU with RIA Academy & Consultancy to collaborate on delivering training and certification in the state of Sabah.
Sabah Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation; Datuk Dr. Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, as well as representatives from Ria Academy & Consultancy Sdn. Bhd.; Datin Fauzirah Zainun, the Business Development Director, Wan Shukri bin Mohamad, the Vice President, representatives from TWI; Kamariah Zainuddin and Dato' Tengku Fatimah Ainura from the Business Development team attended the event.
TWI exchange MOU with Ria Academy & Consultancy
Ria Academy & Consultancy has a solid reputation in the Oil and Gas sector. They are also well-known for being the reliable training provider of Petronas, with over 7000 students since 2003. This collaboration not only grants numerous benefits to all parties involved, but it also serves to strengthen the reputation and visibility of TWI within the Sabah region.
Datin Fauzirah Zainun expressed a mission to develop the talents and skills of the local Sabahans to an international level, to give them the capability of contributing to the people of Sabah. TWI is committed to supporting the training representatives to provide everyone with high-quality, industry-relevant technical and vocational training.
In addition, TWI is pleased with the willingness of the Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS) to establish a strategic cooperation relationship through the high skills welding training with international certification to help improve the standard of living for the Asnaf group in Sabah.
