Our single client project growth manager, Dr Farshad Salamat-Zadeh is due to attend the ‘SPE Symposium: Non-Metallics—Disruptive Solutions for Sustainable and Cost-Effective Assets’ in Abu Dhabi from 21 to 22 February 2023.
The event, which is taking place at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing around the topic of the use of non-metallic solutions in the energy sector.
As a platform for subject matter experts, manufacturers, and operators the symposium offers an opportunity to discuss the latest technological developments, challenges and ambitions for the future.
The corrosion of metallic pipelines and downhole tubulars, as well as the associated maintenance for prevention and mitigation, is a challenge for various industries including the energy sector.
Non-metallic solutions can not only eliminate corrosion but also improve operational efficiencies while maximising asset availability and reducing life cycle costs.
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) are a not-for-profit professional association with over 124,800 members from 134 nations acting as a key resource for technical knowledge through events, seminars, publications and online resources.
