TWI consultant, Raja Khan is due to speak at a workshop held at Birmingham University dedicated to additive manufacturing.
The ‘Additive Manufacturing Workshop’ will take place on 15 December and is designed for anyone interested in manufacturing, research, or additive manufacturing.
Raja’s talk will be on the subject of ‘Metal Powders for Additive Manufacturing,’ while the workshop will investigate topics including recent developments in process control, imaging, modelling, materials, and design for additive applications.
Event attendees will also be given the opportunity to tour Birmingham University’s additive manufacturing facilities following the workshop.
AILU (The Association of Laser Users), in association with Birmingham University’s AMTECAA (Advanced Manufacturing Technologies to Create, Activate and Automate) programme, are providing SMEs based in the Midlands fully-funded places for this event.
