TWI Pakistan took part in the 6th Annual University of Engineering and Technology Career Fair 2020 in Lahore.
The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) on Thursday, 6 March 2020, hosted the ‘Annual Job Fair’ 2020, providing employment opportunities to aspiring students.
UET, a flagship in engineering education and research and the oldest institution in the country, endeavours to build collaborative channels between industry leaders and students to help business flourish through innovation, research and development, as well as through the placement of qualified and talented professionals.
Professor Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar, the UET Vice-Chancellor, inaugurated the one-day event which was attended by deans, chairmen, faculty members, alumni and a large number of students and foreign visitors.
TWI Pakistan’s team, led by Regional Training Manager Ahmed Jahanzaib, discussed with undergraduates and career fair visitors how TWI could help them realise their potential across all industries, while highlighting that that CSWIP qualification can open doors to rewarding and varied careers anywhere in the world.
It is also commendable that the fair focused on diversity, equal opportunities and female empowerment, as more female engineers and technicians are taking an interest in the field of welding, non-destructive testing and painting.
