The Welding Institute’s Polymers and Composites Technical Group will be hosting their first online event of the year, from 9:30am – 12:30pm (UK time) on the 30 March 2023.
The event, which is titled, ‘Polymers and Composites in Oil and Gas and Energy Transition Applications’ will explore the varied range of applications that use polymers and composites and why these distinct materials are selected. It will provide understanding into the range of fluids and the harsh environments in which they must withstand and perform unfailingly.
The webinar will also touch on some recent developments, and how polymers and composites can play a role as we transition from traditional oil and gas to a cleaner hydrogen economy.
Speakers at the event include representatives from Future Pipe Industries, Aramco, and DNV along with TWI Technology Fellow, Bernadette Craster.
Who Should Attend?
